Well, at least he doesn't seem to have taken offense, so there's still hope for this. He sighs and nods then.
"Yeah, you're the first person I've seen in a while, too," he admits, "but I kind of feel like everything I'm encountering now is... for the second or third time."
He watches a moment as the young man sort of shimmies his way upward, then pulls at the back of his neck.
"You, ah... want a hand there, slick?" he asks, threading his fingers together like to offer him a boost. He's pretty tall, so he could make it a lot easier to get a lot higher in a lot less time.
