He shrugged because it obviously wasn't that big of a deal to him. It was what it was. People would believe what they wished to in the end. Honestly, that was something he appreciated about humanity as a whole. That desire to continue to believe what they wished was an honorable thing, something that should be fostered and encouraged.
"Ah but it was something of a war. Spirits are summoned to fight in a war for the Holy Grail so that the victor may have their heart's truest desire granted." He grinned at him then, hands on his hips.
"So what are you? Are you not human?" He was honestly just making an assumption here. The only thing he had to go off of was that his new friend hadn't said something like 'us humans' or something like that. Obviously that meant he wasn't one, right?
